My TOP 5 comedy shows

Hello hello people! How's your Monday going? Mine was pretty stressful and what do I usually do to get rid of the stress? I watch some comedy shows and here's the list of a few shows that I currently watch and love and recommend to you as well. Enjoy!

1. Brooklyn Nine-Nine

This American sitcom is about a group of NYPD detectives from 99th Precinct who not only have to deal with crminals on a daily basis, but also have to face their own problems, wheather they're serious or not so serious. The show is not only funny but also touching and heartwarming. And there are 4 seasons available on Netflix to watch, so go ahead and start the Brooklyn NINE-NINE marathon.

2. Workin' Moms

Thanks to Netflix I recently discovered this Canadian sitcom and I'm loving it! It's about a few women from a Mommy and me group that decide to go back to work after having a baby. The show was created by Catherine Reitman, starring also Catherine Reitman, Dani Kind and Juno Rinaldi. The series is really funny even for someone who doesn't have kids. It covers many subjects related to motherhood, position of a modern woman in the world dominated by men, etc. Season 1 is currently available on Netflix. Don't miss it!

3. Parks and Recreation

Okay, so this show was on-air between 2009 and 2015 but it doesn't change the fact that this is one of my favourite tv shows ever! It's an American political sitcom, starring Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Chris Pratt, Aziz Anzari, Aubrey Plaza and Nick Offerman, and is about how a deputy director of Parks and Rec, Leslie Knope, tries to make her community a better place to live. I think Amy Poehler being on the show is enough to make you believe that it is so funny and you'll not regret watching it.

4. The Good Place

This American fantasy-comedy series, created by Michael Schur, starring Kristen Bell, Ten Danson, Jameela Jaamil and Manny Jacinto, focuses of Eleanor Shellstrope, who finds herself in Heaven, aka The Good Place, after she died. She realizes that she must have been sent there by mistake because her actions on Earth were far from being considered good. There are 3 seasons available on Netflix right now, so don't waste your time and give it a try!

5. Black-ish

And last but not least, Black-ish. This American sitcom, starring Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, follows an upper middle class African-American family led by Andre Johnson, Rainbow Johnson and their 5 kids. The show revolves around the family's lives, as they juggle several personal and sociopolitical issues. I can totally recommend this show to you!

These are my current TOP 5 comedy shows, but there are so many more to chose from if you're having a bad/stressfull day and you need a good laugh, for example classics like Friends or How I met your mother, or Modern Family, Great News, 30 Rock, SNL and many, many more. Hope you've found something for yourself and if you have, enjoy binge watching then!
